Stefano Forgione and Giuseppe Rossi are the artistic duo operating under the pseudonym TTOZOI since 2010, the year of their solo exhibition in Naples at Castel Dell'Ovo. Since their adolescence, they have experimented with various artistic techniques and approached Art History with an Informal matrix, following their aesthetic and conceptual vocation. In December 2006, their shared passion for Informal Art brought the two back together after years spent living in various Italian cities. At the center of their dialogue is the awareness that "Art has always been Contemporary" and that "the Artist cannot operate apart from the past": from this stems the development of a project based on true nature expressed through mold on canvas, inextricably linked to the uniqueness of the location's biology, the infinite variables of an environment, and the duration of stay at the specific site—each work created in situ metabolizes an entire span of memories like windows into the archaeology of time. Their research is becoming the voice of a small revolution in the experimental field of painting. TTOZOI is the creator of the so-called "void of intervention," a genuine phase of waiting that follows their simultaneous four-handed action on the canvas.
