ANONIMO
Art News Milan
31/10/2026Coinciding with Turin Art Week, the Raffaella De Chirico Gallery returns to its temporary space format inside Studio Manfredi to present the group exhibition Anonimo.
The project proposes an exhibition in which the artist's name is, for once, deliberately left out of the picture.
The artworks are presented to the public without signatures, biographies, or any references that might condition the viewer's gaze prior to their encounter with the piece. It is a brief exercise in suspension, an attempt to restore centrality to what happens in front of an image, a form, or a material.
Anonimo stems from the desire to observe the artwork as free as possible from the superstructures that inevitably accompany it: the artist's name, their history, their market, and their reputation. It is not a matter of denying the author's importance, but rather of postponing it to a later moment.
No captions. Just the artwork.
