Tania Brassesco & Lazlo Passi Norberto’s artwork is a fusion of photography, cinema, performance and installation. Sketches and ideas turn into real sets, costumes and props, and the scenes are carefully realized by the duo like a set for a movie.
Through a cinematic and narrative vision Tania & Lazlo explore the universe of psyche, unconscious and dream. They explore the most intimate and mysterious aspects of human nature and the relationships between memories and environment, realizing scenarios suspended in a timeless space, at the boundary between real and unreal. Situations of apparent normality transcend to a mysterious and surreal dimension and each artwork represents a personal and enigmatic story.
In "Under the Surface" the character is totally sunk into the maze of her mind, in contact with the deepest part of her thoughts, fears and visions. The same feelings are transported in a wide and tragic scale in "Endless Void" where the subject is lost in the vastness of his emptiness.
